Economic Security Index 2025 Presentation

The Economic Security Index 2025 will show the dynamics of changes in the state of Ukraine's national economic security system over the year, as well as the current state of economic security in other Index countries in the context of existing external and internal risks and threats (27 factors of economic danger).
This year's Index includes: Ukraine, Argentina, Poland, Germany, Romania, Finland, Czech Republic, Turkey, USA, and Israel.
The Security Index from the International Liberty Institute (ILI) reflects the effectiveness and reliability of a state's legal and economic institutions, as well as the overall system of public administration for implementing the country's strategy of rapid, long-term economic growth.
The tool for assessing the state of economic security from the analytical center International Liberty Institute is being presented for the second time; it is created based on 60 indicators—statistical data, studies, indices, public opinion surveys, and expert groups.
We present:
  • the overall ranking of the Index countries,
  • 4 groups of countries by level of economic security,
  • analysis of the state of economic security in the Index countries,
  • analysis of the state of economic security in Ukraine.
We will compare Ukraine with other Index countries to identify best practices and prevent negative scenarios. Given the security situation in the country and the world, as well as the alarming results of the studies obtained, the implementation of the Index results is a critical issue of the present.
The IES 2025 will include conclusions from the Index and recommendations not only for the Government of Ukraine, but also for the countries included in the study.
The conclusions of the Economic Security Index can be used to improve the state of national economic security in the Index countries. The relevance of the IES from ILI is rapidly growing due to security risks in Europe and the world as a whole. The online broadcast of the presentation at the Interfax agency Press Center will be available on the Institute's YouTube channel.
