Presentation. How to Eliminate Corruption in Ukraine
June 24, 2026 (Wednesday)
13:00-14:00 (GMT+03)
Corruption as a Failure of the State. How to Create an Honest and Effective System of Public Administration?
For the first time in Ukraine, the International Institute for Liberty presents a step-by-step action plan: from the chronic and futile struggle against corruption to its complete elimination as an institution in Ukraine.
Our approach to the elimination of corruption is grounded in the theory and practice of government failure, the functioning of the entrepreneurial growth model, and the findings of research on economic freedom, the institution of private property, and limited government. The ILI concept rests on a solid and universally accessible evidence-based scientific foundation.
At the presentation, we will introduce:
- 62 effective measures;
- 12 key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the implementation of the Concept's recommendations by the Government and Parliament;
- An in-depth international study by ILI experts — a systemic examination of corruption as a legal, socio-economic, institutional, and ethical phenomenon across countries worldwide;
- How the ILI Concept and Study can serve as the foundation for any anti-corruption strategy in transitional and post-Soviet countries.
A live presentation with an online broadcast will be held at the press centre of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency (Kyiv). Journalists are welcome to attend the event and put questions to the speakers.
